  The staff is great, the product is typically quite fresh and local. But if you want to save your money you're probably better off shopping in salmon arm. I live in sicamous and only shop at Askews when I need a key ingredient or produce.

  Group of women ordered a large Greek salad for a gathering and were told they would get a "good deal". Went back in to pay and were charged $140 for about $35 worth of ingredients. This salad couldn't have taken more then a hour to prepare, so that's ~$110 for labour?!?
  Askew's should be ashamed of themselves.

  We are fortunate to have a store like this in Sicamous. The store is always clean and the staff are friendly. Sometimes I leave feeling like I paid too much.

  "Hi, id like to apply for a job at Askews." said Sally. "ok give it your all." said the owner. "Askew!" sneezed Sally. "Askewz you." shouted the owner. "i need to askew a question." said Sally. "Anything." said the owner. "did i get the job?" "does a hump back whale ask for an askew every 8 days, 8 hours, and 88 seconds while jumping through a hoop of fire?" asked the owner. "yes?" answered Sally. "YOU GOT THE JOB!" shouted the owner.

  Fantastic to have a great store like this in Sicamous. Very convenient for vacationers, cabin owners, & residents. Prices are a bit high but the alternative is Armstrong or Salmon Arm
